While in South Africa the National Bar Association (America), met with their South African peers. In their meetings, the two groups discussed important issues relating to the two countries, US and South Africa.

Of importance in these discussions was the one concerning Biotechnology issues, especially those touching on medicinal plants found in the continent of Africa.

The organisers agreed to have follow up meetings in the future.
